Just another writing from my collection hidden in my binder. Enjoy and comment!

A Life
Voices calling me
I find it hard to breathe
Walking endlessly
for a live that cannot be

The bird is singing now
a far off mournful song
to mark the passing of
one just like me

Never vindicated
we live a rotten life
try and hide yourself
but pain is falling fast

You always had the skill
So give me the will
to ascend from darkness
and be someones savior

This crooked path I walk
is slowly straightening
I think it's time to talk
about how your saving me

I'm falling now
right back to the ground
your footsteps echoing
leaving me choking on the dust

The silence deafens me
My body will not breathe
suffering endlessly
in a life destined to be

Injured dreams

Woah this is almost unprecedented. A third poem posted in about a week! Creativism at a high I guess. Enjoy and COMMENT!(please? haha)

Injured Dreams

I'm looking for a higher answer
another reason for what I've become
One more form of this cancer
A fate that only happens to none

Losing my way again
not sure what to trust
I can't believe I came this far
On a path where sorrow is a must

Where was that god
who sent me on such a journey
Where is he now that it's over?
likely sending another injury

Pulled down and aside
by my own sense of worth
bracing myself against the coming tide
In a place where we refuse to be first

Searching for another road
guided only by my feet below
Falling off dreams I once rode
Never was there such a foe

I can never find what I need
So many call me friend
Only here to help my defeat
While claiming to help mend

Climbing up this mountain again
How many times will I fall down?
Following the footprints of so many men
Will I ever make a sound?

Life strips away my hope
you chalk it up to the simple fact of breathing
While you tieing your own rope
Knowing that our dreams cannot be

In a world filled with misplaced sins
and all anyone ever knows is fading
You are not judged by what you are
But by what you could have been

Sliver

Some of you may have noticed that I update this...sporadically to say the least. Well here's another random update. Enjoy!

Sliver

Where did you go?
You have me walking endlessly
Searching relentlessly
You have the secret I need to know

I'm too scared to ask
afraid to shatter a heart
As if looking at a broken mirror
My will morphs on each and every shard

I hear the whispered wounds
Tearing you apart
Hoping to heal your wound
I whisper my own blade

You are defined by faith
Making me question selfish beliefs
I have hoarded inside
In the place I'm too scared to leave

Twisting and changing
Your touch echos in my soul
Far beyond comprehension
Bringing rise to a fatal question

The words I can not speak
about love and life
accompanied by endless sighs
When stricken with the thought of you

To say to you now
As you struggle through it all
would be selfish betrayal
So a sliver of water hit the ground

No time for his own sadness
Can only weep for others sake
But no one can see him shining through
A smile on his face, Swearing to follow you

For those watching, Daybreak

I wrote this a few days ago, and

I must say I like it more then most of my stuff. So for all those reading, enjoy

Daybreak

Watching the moon rise
I feel the sun sink inside
and conjure up memories
drown in their regrets

Thoughts echo in your mind
Reliving your transgressions
ashamed of inequities
From the long forgotten past

Whisper a silent prayer
For angels to descend from the night sky
To bear the weight of a guilty soul
and to atone for innocence stolen

The lunar light peaks in the darkness
Not much longer until it dies
Not much longer until hope dies
Call out to the night to be saved from crippling pity tonight

As the night dims
So too does your heart
As a star rises
So too does your spirit

Dawn breaks the nights curse
As if shattered by the rays creeping upon you
The shackles of endless repentance break
At last your will walks free

Run ever so slightly
from the power of the past
Feel Freedoms forgiveness
Embrace the light destined to last

"The Liar"

Been a while, and I thought

I'd treat anyone readin to another treat. Now its a game to find the meaning... XD

The Liar

So tell me what to do
To open up your heart
And tell me what went wrong
In love I felt for so long

This weight inside my skin
is starting to tear at the chest
A heavy burden dragging it down
Until if finally sinks into the abyss

I've born witness to crime
To the catacombs of life
and the morgue of society
suffocating true emotions

Culture absorbs what different
Doesn't accept indivuality
And love is no exception to that
Prepare for it to be washed away in the tidal wave

Whos to say that they are right?
To swallow your soul
and spit out another machine
Defined by routine

From outside humanity
you can see the darkness
and feel its heaviness
gripping at the life inside

Out of a world so bright
Comes another creeping
Blanketing the world in plight
Leaving it as like all the others

He promised to bring glory
To a world blackened evermore
To deliver salvation
Only for us to discover whats inside the liar

My World

I suppose this may seem slightly

negative, but I tried to have it balanced. Not sure how well that worked out though. Comments?

My World

A joyous world mine has become
Repentment is plentiful
Friends gather round
Life smiles down at us

A rich world mine has become
Where integrity faces me at every turn
Love is given freely
Hate a term for forgotten recklessness

A growing world mine has become
Where all are filled with bliss
and hope looks to new horizons too long ignored
My world embraces me

A sad world mine has become
Forgiveness has forsaken me
And friends betrayed me
Life itself is set against me

A desolate world mine has become
devoid of worthy notions
Love flee's at every turn
Hate beckons towards me

A decaying world mine has become
Happiness withers away
Hopes light is blotted out
My world has turned against me

But is a world of my making
Whether its during the euphoria of life
Or the depressing pressure of living
I made it with my own hands

If curious as to what it is, ask ^_^

Escape

Flee from what you thought you knew
Run away from what wont miss you
Find your shelter
Away from the shallow bay

What is left for you there
among the crashing waves
People clamouring for secrets
Where none should be given

Pick up your anchor,
Cast off your boats
Open your sails
Never look back

Why should you stay?
In the tide of betrayal
Where fools rule with emotions
rather then knowledge and honor

Where no happiness can endure
All that was loved leaves
A whirlpool of darkness
A cesspool of hate

Pick up your anchor,
Cast off your boats
Open your sails
Never look back

Swim away from the tide
That tries to corrupt you
To seduce you into lies
and forfeit your integrity

The water that laps at your feet
Turned against you by friends
Poisoning your resolve
Weakening your loyalty

Pick up your anchor,
Cast off your boats
Open your sails
Never look back

Leave it all behind.
Face foward
To the breaking dawn
Out of the shallow bay

Find the meaning if you can!

I think I meant there to be a meaning to this one. But even there isn't one, critique and reply! =)

Remember

Show me your fake smile one more time
Prove you can pretend to innocence
Instead of being a shell with a mask,
and that you have reclaimed your humanity

Do yu remember why you came?
A sad saint evoking pity and remorse
Still engraved in the stone hear of yours
and is slowly chisselled away

Do you remember what you left?
A handfull of people who loved you
in exchange for a new life under the sun.
Is that fair to your friends?

Your friends, who still mourn your oss
Your absence makes it seem like the sun has gone out
Veiling their heart in shadow
And cultivating their love into resentment

Remember those long winter nights
where talks of yours kept us alive
where we sorrowed a your departure
and yearned for the next night to come

Remember when it gradually became clear
that you had people who would lay down their life
So that you might find hope,
and the abandonment you left them with

A chance to rebuild their trust
and take back their commitment and devotion
Build up your tower of trust once more
and invite us to love again inside

Sweet and simple, thats all. No real name, same as always comments and critqueing appreciated

Why do you remember society?
Those who remember society are doomed to conformity
and all its sufferings

Why do you remember youth?
Where you brainwashed and streamlined to life
and its routines

Why do you remember me?
The one who gave you only false hope
with my misery

What forced you into submission?
Giving up the ability to lead yourself
for the 'good' of others

What forced you to remember us?
We who stripped from you dignity
and with it your pride

What forced you to love us?
I only ever gave disappointment
I had no love

Who do you want to be?
A shadow of what you left behind
or just a shadow

Who is it that you are?
A constant reminder of past sins
Or a parasite sucking away my life

Who do you want us to be?
A saviour inside your dark world,
or a Messiah to condemn

Answer, or face the light of ignorance

Society is anarchy,
where outcasts are thrown to the dogs,
and the outcasts outnumber the rest

Youth is propoganda,
Directing how we grow,
And always directed to wither

You are an unwanted sore
That continues to bleed us
Until we fade away

I forced myself into submission
Much easier to go easily,
then fight the corruption

I loathed loving you
My own body fought against me for you
But my mind won in the end

I remembered you
because of the cruelties inflicted
and your haunting words echoing

I want to be me
To actually know who I am
without flailing for it

I am a lost soul
Thrown to the wilds
abandoned by 'humanity'

I want you to be mine
Despite hating you,
You give us a meaning to live.

More stuff! "Little Child"

Weeow back again, sorry to disappoint those wantin another thing like "The World" but I seem to be in poetry mode lately. Well anywho, onto the latest one entitled "Little Child". Enjoy

Little Child
Little one, did the wind finally blow out your light?
Small child, has your heart forgotten for who you wait?
No, the wind didn't blow it out, it was never there to be blown away.
Who is there that deserves to have this troublesome Soul ingrained into them?

Young one, did the memories of her clear your mind?
Innocent child, where did that essence of honesty we treasured go?
I have no one worth remembering in this filthy head
Why should one ever be honest with the world full of lies?

Growing one, have you finally forgiven yourself?
Ignorant child, when did your soul become so clouded?
I can never forgive my own transgressions, no matter how just they were
My soul was always being corrupted ever since I was born into this world

Loved one, when will you finally be a child?
Adored child, will you ever appreciate their sacrifices?
I will be a child when the world is stripped of its carelessness
No sacrifices should be made for me, so none should have any worth

Little one, did the wind finally blow out your light?
Small Child, has your heart forgotten for who you wait?
No, the light has endured against the worst of storms
Who she was is gone, but I will always remember her.

Young one, did the memories of her clear your mind?
Innocent child, where did that essence of honesty we treasured go?
What was once hazy became clear from her words and cannot be repaid
It shines through, even in this world of encircling darkness

Growing one, have you finally forgiven yourself?
Ignorant child, when did your soul become so clouded?
The mistakes made are in the past and will be atoned for
My soul is weathering a storm brought birthed of malice

Loved one, when will you finally be a child?
Adored child, will you ever appreciate their sacrifices?
I will be a child when the world lacks its dark hunger
No sacrifice was in vain, all are worth this weight I bear.

There ya go, another *coughMasterpiececough* poem. Comments and thoughts are appreciated. As is critiqueing

More of the different

Woah, two entries so close together. Lucky you guys eh?
Heres another entry similar to the last one, kinda maybe.

The Last Wish
Running to the Cliff, he continues to push on.
Running from the world, he can't go on
Why does he run, they wonder
Why can't he go on, they wonder

Breaking through the walls,
the walls that he built up so tall
No longer the naive fool of youth
Instead the foolish adult of tomorrow
Just like everyone else

His breathing becomes shallower
his heart continues to beat slower
Every passing moment of epiphany
Slowly sunders his life

Within this drawn-out fate
There is a small pleasure to be had
a pleasure at knowing how to change life
and the pity knowing the secret dies with him

Release the mind,
Is heard within an ethereal chime
Release the flesh,
Is whispered within the silence
Release the soul,
Is commanded outside the thought
What's left is the fate man deserves
What's there is the fate man has
What's right is the life man wants
What's here is the life man needs

As the last breath finally leaves him
Leaving in a sigh of shameful release
Guilt fills him in the last moment
Guilt over not sharing the truth
Guilt over achieving balance
Guilt over finding harmony

They say ignorance is bliss cherished
Ignorance is just ignorance
Once the knowledge is known, there is bliss
Until then there is none.

Find the knowledge and share it
That is his last wish

Another random writing

Whee back again, this time with something thats hopefully more coherent. Oh and for those expecting a story, sorry to dissapoint :p
Anyways, has no working title. Suggestions?

You won't come when the women are suffering
Won't come because your dead inside
You won't come when the children are calling out
You choose to run and hide

I run away when responsibility comes for me
Won't ever let my true self show
Pushing on like priest seeking redemption
I hate to mention, why I'm beyond it

That he's lost to the sun forever more
That his life grows cold the more he thinks about it
Crippled from the inside, deserving it
Falling into another hole

You'll never know how to replace his heart
Can't ever be healed on the inside
You can't go on, knowing every move is a mistake
Hoping to see him laughing again

I don't know why these shadows drag at me
Only have my soul left to bleed for her
I tear down the walls in my mind once again
Hoping to finally let her in

Can he ever let her in?

His mind falls apart, with lonely thoughts
His heart grows cold, nothing left to care for
Finding life so chilling, he shiver's
What is left for him but falling?

You come running when the women are suffering
Runs because he's finally alive inside
Goes to save the children that are calling out
Putting his life on the line

I come to a crossroad, directions hanging on a sign
one reading continue dying inside
Another says finally live for more
I find that redemption so long forgotten

With his path come full circle, Walls fall down
His chilled heart beats again with a love and a purpose
Throwing off the crutches of eternity
He climbs out of the hole

Climbing out the hole
His life becomes whole
He finally lets her go

The World

Back again guys, noticin hardly any views. that makes me sad =(
Anyways, heres something I wrote without knowing what it was or why. Enjoy, tell me your view of it and comments please
Now for the story

The heat pounds down upon the mans bare head, only fueling his desperate attempt. The halos of the sun only remind him of what is at the end of this journey, at the end of this last desperate grab for life. He stops now there is no coming back, all that is not lost already will soon fade away with everything else that was once important. This man, the last of his kind, needs to reach the end if he ever wants to be remembered.

It all began on that cold day oh so long ago, so far past that even the memory of it is slowly fading like the rest of him. The day when he learned that he was part of the world, that it was the world that made him. Now the world needed him back, needed what it had given to him that dark winter morning. All along he had only been waiting to be called upon, not living even after being rebirthed to do that.

Scolding himself for letting his mind wander, the man continues his slow journey home. Home being just a term used to imbue familairity to it, despite that it is a place that should never deemed as a home. The haunting allure of 'home' wasn't that it was home, it was that it had been there since the end. What was not there before only came when life had ran its course.

Like a virus, life had been repelled by that which life believed sustained it. The virus simply had needed a cure, a cure that only 'home' could administer. With the cures job complete, it now only had one thing left to do. It had to return until needed again.

The man finally looks onto 'home', and feels worse then he ever did when curing the virus. He had done his job, extremely well if he could say so, but what if he hadn't done it nearly as well as he believed? What if the cure had left behind some remains of life? It is hard to imagine what 'home' would do to him if that happeneed.

Following the urge to return, he went home and awaited the world's assessment. Life had been a plague that continuely pained the world, it only made sense that it had to be eliminated. The cure's mind slowly turned to the thought that maybe given time, the plauge could've become the cure itself. But thats absurd, and The Cure know's it. Life had been given more then enough time to prove it could help, in the end it only hurt. The Man knew this, but did not know that life was precious. How could he? He had been given the instinctual urge to extingushe it, and had treated it as a blight on his benefactor. And what was there to do with such a blight but purge it? Nothing except, the Man knew and accepted this fact. But why then was he so troubled when the last of life had fallen?

Somewhere within him he knew the answer, but was scared to confront it. Knew that the cure itself was life, therefore also the plauge it was meant to destroy. Thus for his job finally to be done, he had to...die. A foreign concept to one who had always believed himself not living or dead, simply there. It wasn't long at all before The World gave its answer, and with it his sentence. A sigh, an almost human emotion, comes from the Man tinged with regret.

With it, The World finishes the task he had started.

Starting this blogging thing again, did it only once or twice before and not used to it. So I figure I'd give you guys a treat (or not depending on u) by postin a story I wrote for a class last year. Oh and bonus points for who can guess I got the idea for Kiri from :)

Requiem for a Son(better name needed, suggestions?)

Thunk, the newest corpse joins its companions on the floor. “Three at once, they nearly had a chance.” Kiri stoops to the nearest body and cleans his knife on its shirt. Stepping over it, he proceeds down the now empty hall. “Kyuzo was completely wrong for once. The layout isn’t at all like he showed me.” Irritation registered briefly before Kiri brushed it away and turned the corner.
Faster then he thinks, Kiri launches his knife threw the air. It clunks into the wall, clean. “Humph, miss.” Tossing another knife, he lunges forward and grabs his target this time. The knife collides right with the victim’s throat, trapped in Kiri's grip. Retrieving both knives, Kiri goes on without slowing.
“Pathetic” the noise in the previous silence echos down the corridor. Without a pause, the knife flies from Kiri’s hand. A thud accompanies its arrival to flesh. “What you think that’ll do it?” Annoyed by it, he lets fly another knife. This too hits its mark. “Is this all ‘Nanaya Kiri’ has to offer? Pathetic.” Bored with the whole affair, Kiri decides to opt for a different approach. A small grin grows on his face.
Closing his eyes for a moment, a small grin grows on his face. Gone is the calm blue; in its place is a violent red. Without thought, Kiri reaches out and grabs his foe. “You’re the one “ his hand becomes a fist “who’s pathetic.” Opening his hand, he lets this new body join its comrades.
The eyes changing back to their native color, Kiri remembers why he is there. Recalling that he’s here on a mission, he continues on. Coming to the end of the hallway, Kiri pushes through a set of oak doors into a wide-open clearing.
He drops to a knee, as a rapier appears where his head was a moment before. “Odd, I didn’t even feel him there.” He’s forced to dodge again as the rapier comes toward him. Rolling to the side, he tries slashing her arm but is stopped by a withdrawn blade. “Hah… maybe this is the challenge Kyuzo mentioned.” A child-like giggle nearly escapes from him at the thought. A claymore falls at him before it can get out. “Claymore? It was a rapier before.” Looking at his foe, Kiri sees the weapon just as it morphs back into a rapier. “Now this, could get interesting.” Kiri thinks to himself. With a flourish of his hand, he now holds 3 knives.
Tossing the first one, he flexed his leg and reached his foe before it arrived. Slashing at his foe’s chest, he notices a distinctly feminine feature. “Not his, hers.” The clatter of his knife hitting the ground and his blade being blocked jolts him back to the present. Retreating, Kiri readies another knife. “Now this, might actually be a fun fight.”
Throwing another knife, Kiri once again lunges forward and slashes; but at her leg this time. Showing some strain, she manages to deflect both attacks. “Heh, I think I just use my favorite move on her after all.” With one knife left, he readies for the last assault.
Launching the final knife right at her neck, Kiri leaps after it. Turning upside-down in the aid, he is completely vertical as he reaches her. After knocking his knife away, she didn’t see him flying after. “Too late for you, girl.” Grabbing a hold of her head, he snaps it as he falls to the ground. Sighing, Kiri retrieves his 3 knives.
A faint aura reaches him then. For some reason, it is oddly familiar to the assassin. Pushing through the final set of doors, he enters to a voice talking. “Quite impressive really, I never thought of that before I saw it. Using yourself as a weapon... I know you always taught me it could be done, but never in that way.”
“What is this fool talking about? Taught him?” Kiri is not left wondering though.
“Don’t tell me you don’t recognize the face of your own son.” The voice sounds hurt.
“Son? The only son I had is lost to me.”
“Now I know you didn’t look to kindly on that whole betrayal thing, but I had hoped for at least some sort of reaction from you.” Sighing almost regretfully, his "son" moves.
Thud. Looking down at his chest, he sees a knife embedded to the hilt in his chest.
“My my dad, you disobeyed your own number one rule. ‘Never lower your guard.’ Remember?”
“Hah… how did this happen?” Kiri says more to myself then him
“I shouldn’t have expected so much, this is such a disappointment.” Walking away, the son makes to leave the building.
“So this is what Kyuzo had talked about. My own son Shiki, is the target and challenge. I’ll have to congratulate him on finding this job.” For a long moment, Kiri’s eyes are closed. Then open up to reveal red. “Now I can let myself go.” A deep sigh escapes from him, and the knife in his chest falls to the ground.
“Hm?” Shiki has a right to wonder. Kiri’s whole bottom half was now covered in coarse, black hair. His arms elongate while turning a bright metallic gray, and he grows at least three feet. The head retains most of its form, except gaining a dark tint and a mane ran along his neck
“You also forgot rule number 2, ‘Shiki’. Always make sure your victim is dead.”
Kiri fixes his now feral eyes on Shiki. Realizing the hopeless predicament he is in, Shiki turns to run. Not fast enough though, he is too slow to escape the long reach of his father. Holding his son in one hand, Kiri says “Going somewhere, son?” A broad grin on his face.
“Hey dad, don’t you think you might be overdoing it just a bit?”
“Not at all Shiki, this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been able to do this. Now then, never call me father again.”
“Ok Ok, I won’t! Just please, let me go! I swear I will never call you father again!”
“Your right, you won't ever call me father again. You won't be give the chance.” With that, Kiri tightens his grip and ends Shiki’s life. Dropping the corpse, it’s blood flows out of the ruptured head as he leaves. Already in his normal form, Kiri leaves Shiki’s body and leaves in hope of finding some more 'fun'.

Well there ya go. Might not be the prettiest, but I like it. comments please!
