Rise Once More

This Empty Hollow,
Clutching my fear inside
It will never leave again
Trying in vain to hold it
This numbness from life fills me
Shy away from the crowd
Need to rise once again
From love inside

Take this hate from me for evemore
Send this emptiness away
I’m done looking,
I found my light
I will survive
Rise once more

No more searching now
I have left to go live again
Just another step away
Until you can’t follow me no more
Familiar shadows come claim me
From crippling pity tonight


Dark Blackbird ascends
Take this hate from me evermore
Send this nothingness away
I’m done looking
I found my light
I will survive
Rise once more

The demons are gone now
Rise today, and change this world
If only peace
Had never died
The lost return
Rise once more

Never fall
That time is done
So cry no more
Black wings turn white
Rise Blackbird

And Soar!
