This weight inside my skin
is starting to tear at the chest
A heavy burden dragging it down
Until if finally sinks into the abyss

I've born witness to crime
To the catacombs of life
and the morgue of society
suffocating true emotions

Culture absorbs what different
Doesn't accept indivuality
And love is no exception to that

Whos to say that they are right?
To swallow your soul
and spit out another machine
Defined by routine

From outside humanity
you can see the darkness
and feel its heaviness
gripping at the life inside

Out of a world so bright
Comes another creeping
Blanketing the world in plight
Leaving it as like all the others

He promised to bring glory
To a world blackened evermore
